I understand it's an emotional issue, but I think it's time that at least one side started telling the truth about everything. I mean if they (the protest organisers) can't even get their numbers right then how are we to believe them on the real issues.
For example, the SMH report stated that there were 10,000 to 12,000 people for Saturday's walk. The Get Up website has a sub-heading "Sydney – 40,000 people walked!" and then the very next words are "Well over 10 000 Sydneysiders..."
That's a pretty big difference and to me it comes across as some left wing group blowing things out of proportion again.
