It seems that living in the CBD brings a measure of fame. Last week I was part of a feature for MX, the free newspaper for commuters. Our choir is looking for some new singers and we managed to get a photo and article in there. Branding, that is what it is all about. We'll be performing on the 14th of October.
Then I was on the national news, Channel 10. They couldn't find a legitimate expert, so I spoke about the shortcomings of a hydrogen economy for personal transport. Two tiny sound bites, but it went alright. I was bloody nervous! A first chance to influence public opinion? I wouldn't dream of overestimating the significance of the piece, or my comments! Maybe just on a subliminal level.
