I've been a fan of Chanel Cole since her exposure on Australian Idol. I make no apologies for this. I reckon her voice is comparable to Sarah Vaughan. Her performances on the show made my skin tingle. It was with a heighten sense of anticipation that I bought the new album, "The Dusk Sessions", by Spook.
To begin with I was very disappointed. I expected the album to showcase her considerable vocal abilities. After listening to it far a while though, I have gradually been turned. There are some great tracks, particularly track 4, "Faster". I still have trouble listening to the whole CD in one stretch, some of the tracks are very similar. But, if they are able to develop a second album, with more variety, I would recommend it to anyone. It is a good effort for a debut. "Faster" should be released as a single, it is well worth it.

Hmm, okay, I've thought about it. I'm lost. How does the force factor into this??

The music industry has a moral compass in much the same way as the Force has. Granted there are a number of talented people on Australian Idol but it is the easier way and hence the dark side.

Not really related to your post, but I would change your stats provider from Nedstats to someone else. Nedstats was bought by webstats4u and have now started forcing popup ads on your readers.

In webstats4u's general terms and conditions it states:
"With the installation of Webstats4U on the site it is accepted that WMS has the right to place advertisements on the site in any format or through any channel, including but not limited to e-mail, layer ads, pops, banners and other usual formats without any forewarning and it is furthermore accepted that WMS takes no responsibility for the advertising content and that WMS shall not be liable for any losses incurred regarding this advertising."

I hate pop up advertising. Ask and you shall receive. Thanks for pointing it out!
