I dropped in to the public library at Oldham during my trip. It was the only place to have internet access in the town! I had to do some priniting for a job application. When I was done, I went wandering through the shelves. As one does. I stumbled across a recent issue of an engineering journal. There were some good job opportunities, which I never had the chance to chase up.
The article that really caught my eye was about the "Maltese Falcon" a modern clipper. Sailing has been a cyclical activity through my years, so this article grabbed me. It's nothing short of awesome, you can check it out for yourselves:
