It occurred to me just now, that my efforts might be better spent on music. Music is my drive, it shapes me, my moods and my day. It is something to live for, to wake for. It brings joy. The power of music is amazing. In "Immortal Beloved" Beethoven implies; when you hear a march, you march, when you hear a waltz, you waltz. Music has an untold power of persuasion.
My most prized possession is a painting, created years ago by my Dad. The tones of the painting, the ferocity of the landscape is mesmerizing. Besides the friendships and relationships, his art is his greatest achievement. Am I being naive? He did work for many years protecting our country.

We will remember him fondly by his paintings.
To perform is to expose yourself. The shapes, colours and sounds reflect who we are, what we think what we feel. I must remember, music is not ephemeral, it can be recorded!
