Today I would like to talk about fidelity and inter-friendship incest. Lofty topics, truly. My position on these matters is not entirely bullet-proof, but there are certains rules I live by.


Recently, 'boy A' was forced to leave 'girl A'. These things happen. Now, one of the better mates of 'boy A' is 'boy B'. The pair of them, 'boy B' and 'girl A' decide it would be well within their perogative to hit it off. Hmmm. From my perspective all the 'i's' were dotted and 't's' crossed. Of course, 'girl A' has been caught saying conflicting things to different people. For her, truth is matter of what serves her best. I had thought that it surely wouldn't work. Despite my ideas, 'boy B' is happily plugging away to his heart's content, 'girl A' appears to be enjoying his efforts.


The level of inter-friendship incest among my group of friends does frustrate me. I am not entirely pleased because I get to deal with all the baggage, without any of the bonuses. The cost of keeping mates I guess.
