I crack myself up sometimes. I've just returned from Centennial Park, where I decided rather spontaneously to go roller blading. I've only been to this park twice and only driven around it once before. Finding a park was really easy. I put the blades on and hoped I would complete a lap before the rain. I had been maintaining an easy rhythm, until it started spitting. Now wet roads and roller blades don't mix, but that wasn't the problem.

Towards the end of my lap I was overtaken by what appeared to be a continental North American, on blades. American? Canadian? Not sure. I liked her style, but I was not in the mood for a perve. Shortly after being overtaken, I noticed up ahead that she had stopped and was packing up. In an effort not to sleaze I did not look, aside from the initial glance. As I kept on the path, it slowly dawned on me that I must have already completed one lap and bladed straight past the car. I didn't even blink. If you believe in destiny, I guess I should have had the perve, she was probably parked immediately next to me anyway.
