Every once in a while, I am struck by an unusual phenomenon, speechlessness. It usually has to do with those of the opposite gender that are too attractive to talk to. Let me say this straight out, I am not talking about pure aesthetics. Sure, that plays a big part, but intelligence, posture and attitude leave a indelible impression. I find it similar to the rabbit in the headlights syndrome (great Radiohead track too btw). Real butterflies in the stomach sort of stuff.

The most recent occurrence was last week. They all seem to be connected to the opera house too. Not always on location, but with someone that I have a connection with, due to the great monument. Back to the story. So I am standing outside, savouring the cityscape. Next to me stands a tall redhead, dressed in an elegant gypsy fashion. She turns;

Red:"What time is it?"
I look into the face of an angel, FLASH!, then blurt;
S:"Ten past eight."

End of converstation. I could have reached out, tried some conversation. Far too attractive, further I was playing dress ups, not really my usual self.

But really, from the event, I was looking for closure.
