The day has finally arrived, tertiary education in Australia needs to be euthanised. I was offered an academic position last week. Just a small one, sure. Poor little bastards, having snorks for guidance and inspiration. First year students too. I can say I will do my best.

I am hoping to entice them to the vehicle teams. We have two teams, the SAE team and the SunRace team. Foolishly, I am responsible for both of these efforts. The SAE team lamented the fact that Tokyo Denki had a former Honda F1 expert as their "faculty advisor" and they only had me. My only comeback relied upon my superior personality? Ohh and Tokyo only finished 8th or something.

Theoretically, I should be able to allocate more time to both this year. Need more resources, started with an extra 40 student this year. That's gotta help. I must have driven 11,000km last year for those two events. The Aussie bush is pretty charismatic though. Anyone wanna go for a drive? Volunteers welcome.
